They can add value as the visitor can visualize the product and makes the sales copy more interesting. A nice touch is using buttons or ticks for each benefit of the product. It gives the copy a more professional look.

You need to strike a balance when using them, not too big and making sure it is relevant to what you are offering your visitor.
